Recalling the heartaches everyone shares,
Memories of loved ones, early in life,
Marching off to war.
Rifles in hand took up the fight
All for our freedom,
On Nov. 11 remind us of the men that were lost.
Destruction and chaos all over the world
You look forward to the future
Recalling the past,

We thank God for the loved ones
That returned home
The memories of war they will never forget
To them we owe our freedom.
And pray for them all.

The rumours of war
Once more in the air
Terrorists around us
Filling us with fear.

We put our Trust in God
For He is all in all,
To give us the courage
To face the call.
For freedom and peace
