When I was nine my Aunt Verna took me to Disney for the very first time
She was so good to me my sweet sweet aunt of mine
One can only imagine her shock of dismay and surprise
When asked I said the best part of my trip was going home - Oh B'ys!
But I innocently said I couldn’t wait to tell my Mom and Dad
About all of the wonderful things I’d seen and the memories I had
My favourite attraction was "It's a Small World" and still is to this day
I’ve visited a few times now but the first time was the best I have to say
It was seeing everything through a child’s eyes that made it so grand
We’ve since taken our son so he could understand
The beautiful fairy tale castle that we’d only seen on TV
