Walmart Experience
"it was christmas of 2001.my husband was away and i shoveled a lot of snow. that night i didn't sleep due to my aching muscles. the next day i was feeling really sore. after supper i decided to go to walmart, which is about 10 minutes away, to get some "" deep heating rub"". i shopped for some other things i needed and proceeded to go to the pharmacy dept. as i was about to go in, i noticed that they were starting to close. the pharmacy always closed earlier than the store itself. there was another lady ahead of me at the time and she asked if they were closing. the man said ""yes, but you can come on in"". so i went looking for my deep heating rub. i was in there for a few minutes, not thinking about time. as i turned around i noticed the door was closed. i then looked all around me and realized i was locked in the pharmacy. apparently, they had those folding doors that went around the pharmacy. i froze for a minute. what was i to do? i didn't even hear any voices nearby. i was thinking really hard and noticed there was a gap between the bottom of the doors and the floor. i thought maybe i could squeeze out underneath, but thought an employee could see me or something. that would look bad. i waited awhile and heard someone closeby. i began to call out as i could hear a womans voice. i told her i was locked in and she said the man that locked the doors was already gone home. i told her i needed to get out, but i don't think she believed me. she went away. i waited some more. i looked around and saw a phone on the wall inside the counter. i was tempted to use it and ask for help over the system, but i figured i could be watched over the store cameras. after a few minutes i heard someone closeby. i called out for help. a lady was on the other side. i told her my problem. i needed to get out of this pharmacy! she said she would look for someone. after what seemed ages ago, the door was opened by a store manager. i was so embarrassed!! he couldn't believe that this actually happened. he kept apologizing for being in such a predicament.as i was leaving the pharmacy a group of people were gathered around with a grin on their face. it was at that time i wished i had a bag to put over my face. it was an experience i'll never forget. by the way, i did get my ""deep heating rub""."
