Visit to the Downhome Shoppe
I am a subscriber of Downhome and while walking in the downtown area of St. John's on Sept. 6 I came upon your Downhome Shoppe and Gallery. I had the enclosed two photos taken while holding the September issue of Downhome. I thought you might be interested in seeing these photos. I was born in Grand Falls-Windsor, and I left there at age 19 in 1942. I finally settled in Saint John, N.B. in 1948. I was in St. John's on a golf safari with the governor general's curling club. Toby MacDonald of St. John's was the chairman of the events. Submitted By: NULL
