My husband, Tim Nichols, is from Nicholsville. My sister and her husband, Judi and Bob Violet, joined us for a trip to Newfoundland this summer and we had the time of our lives. It was our first trip there and my husband enjoyed showing us around and telling us all about his life as a boy growing up in Nicholsville. One of the places we visited was Norstead at L'Anse aux Meadows. This is a picture of the four of us wearing the head gear of the Vikings and sitting in one of their establishments.
