Today, the calm, the ocean breeze, Combined with eagles to do as they please. For us, the day was full of delight Whether the sky was dark or light. Slowly and carefully, Watching as we went; Around the Head and up the bay, Surely a day well spent. A storm on the way it was said But it never kept us in bed. The islands so clear and the bay so vast, The time for us just went so fast. In Ireland's Eye we tied up Wayne's boat. So happy and still the memories seemed to float. Our hearts, our minds we filled of times past But like this day, we knew it wouldn't last. So, memories they stay within our hearts; The sights and sounds, such beautiful parts Of a day well spent.
