Uncle Albert and Aunt Bride Dancing
This photo was taken in my Grand Parent’s House( Tom and Ellen Brien) in the Dock in Trepassey
It was over 70 Years ago. Before they had Electricity and Hot Running Water.
No In door Plumbing. The Washing Machine in the Porch was a Gas Operated One.
The Couch was called The Day Bed.Aunt Bride was home for a visit from Boston.
Photo was probably taken by Aunt Bride’s Son Jim.Jim visits Trepassey often and
has done a fine job with keeping Trepassey History Alive and thriving.
Uncle Albert and Aunt Bride his Sister are long passed On and the Old Homestead
is gone as well. All are left is the memory of the ringing of Laughter and the sound of Boot heels on the Wooden Floor as Uncle Cy Played Off She Goes on The Old Button Horner Accordion or An Old Fashioned Couple Were Seated!
