'Here are two kittens my granddaughters found washed up on a beach. They were covered with sealice and looked very sickly and when my daughter rushed them all to the local pet store, they were told the kittens wouldn’t last the night. Well they did. They were nursed back to health all that summer and eventually brought to visit me in Swift Current. However, my daughter didn’t think she could return with them because she lives in a rental property where there’s no pets allowed, it was decided they would stay here in town with a local woman who’s former cat had just passed away.
