‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse Then all of a sudden, in a twinkle I see Something that's glowing beneath our tree Something that's as tiny as tiny can be I got down on one knee and whispered a bit, "Hey, little guy, are you scared or you hit?" Not a squeak did I hear, only moving around Then all of a sudden he let out a loud sound It shook all the needles down to the floor And the wee little thing starts eating some more He was eating and eating, this thing under our tree Then right out of nowhere the tree fell on me! All the lights, the tinsel and all of the balls The likes of which you never would see But the tiny little figure that was under our tree Ate his fill, looked up and he smiled at me He tipped his head and he said "Merry Christmas to yas all. That was some fine feel of needles and sap as well Hope to see ya all next year for another good fill." So in the future when you cut down a tree Make sure it don't have glow worms to feed!
