As an Armed Forces family we travelled around Canada. We lived in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Alberta, B.C. and Manitoba. As a result of the travels, we also visited all the other provinces, with the exception of Newfoundland, so we decided to visit in 2007. We both fell in love with the people and the land. In 2009 on our 50th wedding anniversary we went back to another great time. In 2013 my brother and his wife came with us for our third visit. They just loved it. On our first two trips we seen whales but never an iceberg, on our third trip we seen whales and icebergs everywhere. It was a trip of dreams. We plan on a trip in 2018, hopefully our children and grandkids will join us. As you can see we subscribe to Downhome, a favourite mag. Once my brother, his wife, our daughter and her husband took a vacation with our favourite mag, Downhome!
