Trinity Loop was indeed a " little downhome Disneyland" and my nieces, nephews and friends loved to visit. Another major attraction that wasn't mentioned in the article was the horse rides. I'm sending you a picture of our little horse Ranger. For years he delighted the children going around and around in a circle. After Trinity Loop closed, my daughter asked the owner if she could care for the little horse because she thought Ranger was being bullied by the bigger horses in the pasture. He is now "retired" and spends his days delighting summer tourists in Catalina. He has become an activist in his old age and, as CBC called him, "Ranger the Messenger" played his part in our successful effort to save Catalina Elementary.
