Tribute to Lally Cove
My Tribute to Lally Cove Written By Philip G Baker 1929/2004 Oh Lally Cove yet still I be Encaptured by your Scenery My childhood home of youthful Bliss O lovely Peaceful wilderness. Though things have changed With Time And Tide Your Charm can never be denied. High harbour Hills of Barren plains And Shady Wooden Groves So High above the Landwashes Of Snug and Sheltered Coves. How your presence Challenges us To Climb and never Stop Till we stood in admiration Upon the Mountain Top Oh would not I could see again Such Splendour to behold A Glimpse of Freedom such as then Relinquish all my Gold . Written in Memory of the old Homestead that was resettled in early 1960 for my Sister Evelyn With an everlasting memory of life in an Outport. Submitted By: NULL
