Tranquility
Two little boats of Newfoundland
Lie sleeping down the bay.
Nightmares do not haunt them,
They’ve found peace and time to pray.
No winter winds to lash them
Nor tattered nets to mend.
They rest until tomorrow,
When new dawn breaks again.
Two little boats of Newfoundland
Are never without hope,
For they have dealt with hardship
And well know how to cope.
May the good lord ever guide them
‘Til comes eternity.
This is their time of refuge
And it’s called Tranquility.
