Toaster Throwback
I'm writing about an article in your April issue called "A Toast to Soul Food," by Marina Power-Gambin. In her article she relates to the delicious toast we all love and remember. She also writes about those lovely two-door toasters you had to watch like a hawk. And she writes about wondering what happened to them. Well, I'm sending this photo of mine, which I use on a daily basis. Mine was built about 1914 - that's pretty good service, as the new toasters don't do near as good a job. My wife and I are both loyal readers. I always get her a subscription for her birthday. Keep up the great work. Submitted By: NULL
