To My Dad
here is a poem i wrote for my father after he passed away may 4th last year:
To My Dad:
you were there for my throughout the years,
there to clean a cut, and wipe away the tears.
you were at all my games, cheering for me,
there was a glow upon you that everyone could see.
you were the kindest man i will ever know,
since you've been gone, i've been feeling really low.
i think upon the memories, and i feel very sad,
about the fights and arguements that made us feel so bad.
I looked up to you since i was about two,
no matter what happened, i never stopped loving you.
I remember the day that you had died,
I went in shock, and cried and cried.
It came to us all at once, and it hurt,
I fell to the ground and wept in the dirt.
Everyone was shocked and all people did was cry,
no one understood why someone so great had to die.
Our hearts are broken, we're shedding many tears,
but we wont forget you, not in a million years.
no matter what happens, or what we do,
I never want you to forget that I really love you!
