Time Out of Joint?
May 5, 2009.
A couple of years ago, on one of our trips to Newfoundland, we stopped at a roadside spot to buy a hot dog and a soft drink. There was a trailer/fast food place that took our fancy, so we pulled in. What finally, and ever since, has tickled us was the sign posted just before the opening into the trailer. It was as enclosed. But please notice that each day the "Business Hours" were from "11 pm - 10 pm." We never did quite figure that out but it was great fun, and the hot dogs were just as enjoyable. As we recall it, the place was near Ferryland - just up or down a few miles.
Looking forward to our next memorable trip to Newfoundland, and of course, to our next issue of Downhome.
