Some people ask me why the Life Jacket for a Newfoundland Dog well I figure a little explanation may be in order. We originally got the life jacket for her as she was not overly confident in venturing out in deeper water so we found with this it gave her that extra feeling of security. Although she no longer really requires it to swim out in deep water we still put it on for a couple of reasons, when it is a very wavy day we feel better about her safety if she is wearing it and also the places we bring her swimming is usually close to a boat launch with motor boats and seadoos coming and going so the bright yellow lifejacket makes her much more visible in the water and on the shore. :)   Submitted By: Nicole Watson
