Thorne Family
Submitted Tue, Dec 5, 2006 I thought you might like to see how large some of the families were in Newfoundland were in years past. This is a picture of Henry and Margaret Thorne and thier children taken at their 50th anniversary in 1990. Unfortunately five years later Mom passed away from cancer at the age of 74. Our oldest sister passed away in 2004 and Dad passed away in December of 2005 at the age of 88. We have 4 brothers and 2 sisters living in Ontario and 1 sister who lives in Jacksonville, Florida. The remainder of the family live in Portugal Cove-St. Phillips, where we were raised, or in communities nearby. Submitted By: NULL
