The ‘Track’
There is four foot pathway that once was a railroad track back in the day
It’s on the back by Compass’ Pond of Northern Bay
The uneven tracks left from Quads and ‘Bob Bikes’
Makes for fun walks, jogs and hikes
With little and big potholes of water to skip
Watch where you jump so you don’t go for a dip
A favourite pastime was to skip rocks in the pond
And yell out our names to echo from beyond
To catch ‘Cobblers’ on the bridge of the little brook
All you need is string and a worm, no need for a hook
The Track leads to the ‘Trussel (Trestle) another fav place of mine
These landmarks cannot be replaced and are one of a kind
