The so-called cop who paid us a visit
Created quite a stir and scene
When one self appointed surveillance owner
Spotted him on their security screen

What is going on, he mused
On seeing him talk to an owner in full view
And curiosity getting the best of him
He brought the problem to the super’s purview

Try and find out, was the plea
I must know, it’s driving me awry
Ask them please and report back to me
Sure thing was the super’s reply

But when asked the owner had this to say
It’s a personal thing, not condo related
So that was that, and the surveillance owner
Is non the wiser and most irritated

When really what it was all about
The owner sold tires on computer shop
And the guy who came was a security guard
Dressed in uniform and mistaken for a cop

Just goes to show how nosiness will
Be embarrassment for those so served
And involvement in other peoples business
Will end in come-uppance and well deserved
