The Skiff and Lighter
I have vague memories of this local but I do recall some
I think it had three different areas, the bar being the first one
I remember nice bar stools and glass on the wall maybe
The eating area in the middle had a jukebox most likely
I remember that the fries and gravy were some shockin’ good
And listening to music as you eat like you would
The third area may have been used just for dances now and then
Sometimes teenage ones too if I recall again
It was located in Burnt Point right on the main road
The top floor was once my friend’s family’s abode
I really thought it was a clever place to go
I think today it’s a Décor Center called Crossroads.
