The Pigeon
There was a pigeon on my window ledge, looking at me "Oh, let me in! Oh let me in!" He seemed to say, "Oh let me in!" "I can't do that," I said, "but I can sympathize with you." "Oh please, oh please!" He seemed to say, "It is so cold out here today." He sat on the ledge for a short while, so his picture I could take But before I could take a second one, he flew away from me So I said "Goodbye" to my little friend, that I may not see again Lulu Case, Age 88.
