I was built in 1886 Over the years I have seen many things Through my doors buckskin clad hunters with muskets and powder horns have passed There have been finely dressed ladies carrying parasols while others pushed prams I have heard babies' cries and children's laughter while waiting for their train to arrive or depart Steam engines powered by wood or coal have skirted my platform I was a bustling meeting place for passengers coming and going I survived through feast and famine On faces, I saw smiles and tears I witnessed the departures and arrivals of soldiers who served their country proudly Some of them gave up their lives in defence of their homeland and their coffins rested solemnly on my boards Horses and cattle have passed by en route I have many stories mulling in my interior Countless times, I have heard the hiss of expelled steam and the conductor's unforgettable words, "All Aboard!"
