The Old Cellar Door
While strolling around Woody Island And coming back from the seashore Through the fog we saw something different 'Twas a girl by the old cellar door She wondered if the door could be opened And what could be stored there within But the door had been nailed very tightly So there's no way she could go in She stood there and pondered a moment Was it being used today? Cause this was a thing that was used long ago Now the people have all moved away It made for an interesting topic As we wandered along the road At home we looked at the picture Of the girl by the old cellar door But alas our journey was ended To Woody Island we'll go once more And take with us the girl who was standing Outside of the old cellar door Viola Pomroy-Pink Placentia Submitted By: NULL
