I always enjoy your magazine, especially the poems, pictures of nature, and towns of Newfoundland. After my retirement I started teaching music and writing poems and rhymes of my life experiences. The Love of God

I see the love of God, in those around me;
I see the love of God, in the tallest tree;
I see the love of God, in little babies;
I see the love of God, in the leaves and trees.

I see the love of God, in early morning;
I see the love of God, at the close of day;
I see the love of God, in the evening moonlight;
I see the love of God, in the darkest day.

I see the love of God, in lines of poetry;
I see the love of God, in works of art;
I see the love of God, in past and present;
I see the love of God, in work and play.

I see the love of God, in the tallest mountain;
I see the love of God, in a distant star;
I see the love of God, in a running fountain;
I see the love of God, in a babbling brook.

I see the love of God, from friends around me;
I see the love of God, in music without end;
I see the love of God, in a sermon;
I see the love of God, in a hymn.

I see the love of God, in springtime;
I see the love of God, in summer as well;
I see the love of God, in the autumn;
Even in winter, it is not a fading thing.
