The Keeper of the Sea
"The haunting sound echoes through the fog Calling them home to safety Those cast upon the tumultuous sea In fragile crafts of faith they drift There but for the grace of God go they The mournful cry beckons to them And sobs for the ones that the sea has taken Its circling beam searches it way through the haze Tried and true in battle with the darkness So slowly it’s cries are being silenced One by one they are stilled Replaced by none so welcoming So strong and solid through the storm Left to stand as a shell, their soul, robbed Barely but a memory to some Except for those it called home And the ones who stand before their beauty " Submitted By: NULL
