This picture is of the boat John Knox which was lost off Channel Head. The picture was taken of a painting that was gigged (recovered) off the bottom around the time of the boat's sinking. This painting is currently at a home in Port Aux Basques. It is painted on canvas. There were no survivors from this ship.
