The house I grew up in
This is where ‘the house I grew up in’ used to be
It‘s disappointing nothing is there now and empty
My childhood was pretty good and not one of the best
But it was close to anyone else’s put to the test
We were out all day long on the swings and havin' fun
Or in the woods trekkin' till there was no more sun
We’d explore the beaches, caves, and inlets
Then finish off climbin' all of the ‘now so scary’ cliffs
This is where ‘the house I grew up in’ used to be
Hopefully one day soon it will be filled again with family~
