I, Cindy Bammert, am including a picture of my mother and aunts. We had the great pleasure of two of my aunts visiting my mother in Long Beach, Mississippi. The three Hawco girls from Chapels Cove, Nfld. still enjoy pieces of home. Of course they speak of home lovingly and enjoy the magazine. My mother has been receiving your magazine for years. I personally enjoy learning about my Newfoundland heritage. I have visited your beautiful country and felt at home. The people are loving, caring and proud to be who they are. I enjoy the stories, recipes and the beauty of the scenery. Some of the places shown I have visited. I get a chuckle from all the different names for toutons and have enjoyed this sweet delicacy when my mom made bread. I also enjoy some of the music and use some of the expressions.
