The Family Bible
This beautiful big family bible originally belonged to my husband's grandfather, Selby Noseworthy, of Harbour Grace, NL. It is a work of art in itself. We can trace it back to 1892, and that it was published in the United States. It has the Oath of Temperance, a place for recording family events such as births, deaths and marriages. It is a magnificent piece of workmanship and is in as good a shape now as the day it was made. It remains a treasured part of my husband's heritage. The fact that it is so well kept is proof of how much it is valued in the family. Bonnie Jarvis-Lowe, Shoal Harbour, NL Submitted By: Bonnie Jarvis-Lowe
