If I drew a puffin, I'd colour him blue For that is my favourite shade But what would the people back home think of this If I changed how the puffin was made? The provincial bird sports a shiny black coat And ambles on webbed orange feet His face is part white, so too is his breast Gray, orange, and yellow his beak You see him quite oft' in original form In paintings and on souvenirs A ceramic puffin sits on my shelf Where he's perched for the last twenty years Dear folks on the Rock, I speak only in jest I never one puffin could change For when the good Lord was bestowing my traits He left "artist" well out of their range Cynthia Helen Gullage   Submitted By: NULL
