"Once again it's that special time of year when we give thanks to God and others; We thank our spouses for gifts of love and we thank God for our fathers and mothers. Thanksgiving is a time when we thank God for that meal of turkey, vegetables & dressing; But we sometimes fail to thank Him for moral victories and spiritual blessing. We appreciate fellowship with family and friends who try and help turn our wrongs into right; We thank God for the sun that shines by day and the moon and stars that glitter at night. When the trials and tribulations of life cause us to be frustrated and restless; Thank God for the handicaps anyway and He will reward you with happiness. Too often we look at the riches of others; we tend to get greedy and wish for their wealth; When instead we should be thankful to God for our Christian heritage and our good health. Friends aren't always there through rough times to support you or stand by your side; But you can always be thankful to God because whatever you need He will provide. When you have truly thanked the Lord for the constant showers of blessing sent; Then you will have very little time to complain or have a spirit of discontent. If you wish to worship and honor the God that reigns supernal; Be thankful to Him in all things for His grace and love endures eternal. You may have thanked God for your homes for precious children or a beautiful wife; But have you really considered what Christ did? Have you thanked Him today for His gift of life? As we take time to think of family and friends, of God's love and all that we hold dear; We thank Him for all the ways He's been there and praise Him again for another blessed year."   Submitted By: NULL
