Thanks for the Hospitality
Hi Ron; Just a note to tell all Newfoundlanders how much we appreciate them. My wife, Dorothy, and I have been married for 63 years, and have visited your grand province since 1987. Spent many summers travelling all over Newfoundland. Met some of the friendliest people on Earth. We enjoyed every minute of it. Our favourite area was the west coast, especially Portland Creek, where our good friends the Mitchells (Ann and Kurt) live. Moose hunted with Sam Cains four seasons, bagged four moose. The best eating on the planet. We also have very good friends in Northern Bay, Bernie and Nora Mullaly. They come down here every year to warm up. They have a mobile home about four miles from us. We see them often during the winter, play a good game of Newfie cards. We're getting too old to travel up there but have many good memories. For those folks who have never visited Newfoundland, they're missing one of the best vacations of a lifetime. I've learned to play some good Newfoundland music on the button box. Along with my ugly stick and bodhran, we can turn out some foot-stompin' Newfoundland music. Great fun. Thanks again, Newfoundland, for your wonderful hospitality. Submitted By: NULL
