Taken in Bowring Park
The historic horse trough in Bowring Park, St. John’s, is a genuine piece of 19th‑century history. It was once used daily by horses and draymen before automobiles took over the roads. When it was no longer needed, it was moved several times until finally finding its permanent home in Bowring Park in 1965.
