Sunday Morning
A fresh cup of coffee. The morning sun on my face. The wind blowing westward. At a smooth steady pace The crows in the cove Having lots to say About a fresh food supply And plans for the day The ripple on the water From the warm gentle breeze makes me reflect And puts me at ease The ocean glistens like diamonds From the early morning sun As it rises in the east And heads west when it The fishing boat arrives And the waves hit the shore Reminding me it's perfect I don't need anything more <br /> It's mornings like these As my mind starts to roam Just enjoying the quiet It's so good to be home!
