A photo of the Grade 10 class of 1955 at St. Michael’s School, St. John’s, including my third cousin, the previous Anglican Bishop of NL, Donald Harvey (fourth from the left, second row). Most of the graduates from this class are spread from one end of Canada to the other and throughout the U.S.A. St. Michael’s is now an elementary school. If anyone is curious, I have the names of all the students (eg. Kendalls, Earles, Chafes, Batstones, Bishops, Downs, Higgins, Georges, Fogwills, Brakes, Dwyers, Curnews and Yetmans) with roots all over NL and “the Mainland.” Our Class teacher was Mr. Ray Downer.
