We subscribe to the Downhome; it is very interesting.
I got to visit Newfoundland in July 2007 for the first time and it is very true what they say - the people are so very friendly and the scenery is beautiful. I would go back in a minute (maybe next summer).

A photo of my class picture at St. Mary's School in Curling, approx. 1954-1955. I do not remember everyone's name, but I am hoping another Downhome reader may be able to recognize some of them.
I hired on for International Nickel Company, which today is Vale (better known as Inco), in Corner Brook, NL in Oct. 1966 and left home to come to Northern Ontario in Sudbury. I first worked at Levack Mine and retired after 38 years of service in June 2004.
