Photo of the fire that occurred just after 2PM on October 15, 2004. The school building was closed during school re-structuring a few years ago. It opened during 1953 and in later years taught K - Grade 6; in the early years of its operation it was used as a church and community hall, as well.

Certainly a devastating loss to the town of St. Lawrence - it was recently leased to a local businessman to create a small manufacturing, metal works plant. It has been alleged the fire was started by two youths, and it resulted in the complete loss of the building, with only the concrete exterior walls standing.   Submitted By: NULL
