Spring Thaw – Lewisporte
On May 13th, 2007, for the first time in about 30 years, pan ice and small pieces of icebergs filled our Lewisporte Harbour. This picture was taken just two days after the ice moved in near the shoreline along Lewisporte's Main Street. It captures the reflection and steady melting of harbour ice, grounded in calm shoreline waters, in the welcomed warmth of a spring sun. Submitted By: NULL
