Somebody’s Been Watching Too Much “Lady and the Tramp”
A picture of my cat and daughter that I think is very cute. My family is currently living in Snow Lake, Manitoba, but is originally from St. John's, Newfoundland. We moved to Manitoba in 1985 and have made northern Manitoba our home ever since. I receive the Downhome magazine monthly and I consider it my little piece of heaven that keeps me connected to home. My daughter was sitting one day eating a piece of her favourite candy and the cat was sleeping next to her. The cat woke up and saw the candy hanging out of my daughter's mouth and walked over and started chewing on the other end of the candy. I don't think you could get the cat to do this if you wanted him to. It was so spur of the moment it is amazing. I know you receive many stories like this and all are pretty amazing, but I figured one more can't hurt. My cat's name is Louie - age 5 - and my daughter's name is Toni - age 13. Outside of her family Louie is the most important thing in Toni's life. I am very proud of my daughter for loving her cat as much as she does.
