Ski-Dooing
Haven't been on a ski-doo since I was a kid
Never driven one but I wish I did
I remember the thrill of it when it was your turn
To own one myself I could only yearn
Holding on to the back or to the person ahead
If you were lucky enough it would be your 'Sweetheart' instead
The low rumble and the smell of the gas
As he grips the handles and drives her fast
The fear as you cross over a frozen pond
Trying to block it out with a image of a warm cabin beyond
I wish soon to have another ski-doo ride
And to watch my son's 1st experience with pride
