Sitting by the Fountain
In 1950 when I was three years old, I lived in Halifax with my parents Agnes and Ches Newhook when this picture was taken by the fountain in the Public Gardens. In August of 2009, I went back to Halifax for the first time in 59 years and stood by the same old fountain. The fountain hasn't changed but Halifax sure has.
