Silent Witness I
A picture I took of the Silent Witness memorial site in June.
I also have an interesting story I would like to share with you concerning Silent Witness. After taking this picture in June, I saw in a guestbook about the crash, a message from a young lady who had lost an uncle on that plane crash. She was only 11 at the time and is now in the US Army serving in Iraq. I sent her the picture I had taken and it was the 1st time she had seen any pictures. She told me her uncle's name and I zoomed in on the plaque and saw his name. She was so pleased to get it. Several weeks later, I came across newspaper clippings of the event that I had saved and emailed her and asked her if she would like to have them. I mailed them to her in Iraq and she was very pleased to get them. Her uncle's Mother is still alive so she is happy to share it with her Grandmother.
