Shine With the Moonbeams Tonight
I'm enclosing a poem that I wrote last year to commemorate my daughter, Darlene, and son-in-law, Bill Crawford, who were married on the 2nd of July, 2005.
Shine With the Moonbeams Tonight
Come and shine with the moonbeams tonight,
Morning is coming too soon.
Come hold my hand and we'll waltz with the band,
Come raise a glass to the tune.
Cast away tears that were shed through the years,
Let happiness reign with a crown.
Shine, shine with the moonbeams tonight,
Let our love for each other abound.
Shine shine, for always be mine,
You are the queen of my heart.
You honour my ring and made me your king,
Forever, and never to part.
Let's kiss once more as we waltz o'er the floor,
We'll be the jewels in our crown.
Come and shine with the moonbeams tonight,
Let's be the talk of the town!

In honour of Darlene and Bill Crawford
