Sleet and rain mixed with snow
with howling winds that always blow.
Seemingly like a salt water slob,
Sheila does a masterful job.

This time of year all Irish sings
even though the weather is up in slings.
Daunted spirits? Not a chance,
for St. Patrick inspires song and dance.

Sheila's Brush has come about
to add austerity and make us shout,
with a power outage and a cup of hot tea
we hope our water lines do not freeze.

We hope the power soon comes back on
As we fire our wood stoves and sing a new song.
We are having Sheila's Brush today.
Everyone's welcome to sing and play.

We really have something to celebrate
like family and friends as we start a new slate,
for winter is soon to take a back seat
as spring does away with that snow and sleet.

St. Patrick takes us through Sheila's Brush
with inspirations so lifting and lush.
Green goes with Irish as we sing and laugh.
We also look forward to much greener grass.

Spring and summer are on their way
they'll be here by tomorrow if not today,
for St. Patrick and Sheila initiates green
