Silly salmon, swift and sleek,
Swim, spin, and subtly sneak.
Sifting streams, so sparkling clear,
Silent splashes, sweet sincere.

Shimmering scales, shimmering sun,
Suddenly, they’re so swiftly spun!
Sailing swiftly, somersaulting sky,
Serene and silent, they soar so high.

Soggy stones and sandy shore,
Silly salmon, search and soar.
Slick as shadows, swift as sound,
Splashing, splashing, spinning round.

Sparks of sunlight, sparkling spray,
Salmon’s secret, sweet ballet.
Silly, silly, so sublime—
Salmon’s serenade, synchronized, in time
