This photo of our band Credo, was taken in 1966 after a gig at the Catholic Church auditorium in Holyrood, Conception Bay.
Credo was a rockin’ dance band that played dance halls, high school and community auditoriums and clubs all over the Avalon Peninsula in the mid sixties to early seventies.

Band members, Left to Right:
Chris Rideout, lead guitar/vocals, formerly of Topsail Road. Now lives in Dartmouth, NS.
Rob Tilley, drums, formerly of Kelligrews. Now resides on Vancouver Island, BC.
Gary Shute, rhythm guitar/vocals, of Topsail Road. Unknown where he lives now.
Gerry Evans, vocals, of Topsail Road. Presently resides in Kelligrews.
Reg Smart, bass guitar/vocals. Still resides in St. John’s.
David Moores, keyboards. Still resides in St. John’s.

After 60 years, both Chris and I are still playing in different bands together
