The story contained in your February issue was thoroughly enjoyed by my husband and I. Especially the part where Mr Seaward had to cross the mighty Exploits River (largest watershed in Newfoundland) and the apparatus used to cross. I have included 2 early pictures from my husband's files. Also it reminder me of a crossing my father was making around the same time as he was travelling to Bishop Falls to see a lady who would become my mom.
