Dear Mr. Young, Just finished reading the article on "Resettlement" in the Jan/11 issue of Downhome. A fascinating, but oh so sad, read, it shows the resilient spirit of those folks, helping one another through this painful ordeal. Leaving behind forever the only world they knew, and generations of deceased loved ones; heartbreaking! Several years ago, while browsing through a small gift store on Water Street, my eye caught a reproduction print of three small children standing at the water's edge, looking out to sea at their home being towed away for resettlement. I think it was a boy in the centre, about 7 or 8, with two younger girls on either side. I have never forgotten this forlorn and hauntingly beautiful scene. I went to purchase this print, but because there was a line up at the checkout, and being late for dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant, I never got to purchase the item. If you have access to this print, I sure would like to see it appear in a future issue of Downhome magazine. I would also appreciate to know where I could obtain a copy. Great little magazine.
