Re: From Old to New
We enjoy reading our Downhome magazine. I especially liked the recent article in the March issue on the stove in "From Old to New" I grew up in Gander Bay with a stove like the one described. In the late 40's and early 50's, I used the warming oven to rejuvenate flashlight batteries which I then used for a light on my bicycle. I usually left the batteries in the warming oven for a couple of days.
